The General Foundation from Universitat de València and Caixa Popular will collaborate in the making of the Feria Experimenta Competition of Experiments and Presentation of 2015 Technology and Physics, which will take place at the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum of the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia next Sunday 26th April, according to a signature signed on Tuesday, at a specific convention of collaboration between both entities.
The agreement was signed by the Principal of Universitat de València, Esteban Morcillo, as the President of the General Foundation of Universitat de València, and the Caixa Popular General Director, Rosendo Ortí. Through this document, addendum to the framework convention of collaboration subscribed between both entities on 7th April 2014, the participation of the financial entity at Feria Experimenta will be regulated, organised by the Faculty of Physics of Universitat de València, which is this year its tenth edition.
The Feria Experimenta Competition is an activity open to the public in which tutored students of secondary education have to expose their experimental projects which they devised and put together, and they also have to explain it to the visiting public. Alongside the Feria, the teenagers can stage easy presentations in the “Physicsland” workshop. The experiments which participate will get into a competition and, when the Feria ends, the event of giving the awards will be proceeded.
This Feria falls with the scope of the “Aula Experimenta” initiative, with the aim to stimulate the Secondary students’ interest in science and technology.
