Professors of the Universitat de València Carlos Esplugues and José Luis Iglesias, rapporteurs in the European Parliament

Professors of the Universitat de València Carlos Esplugues and José Luis Iglesias, have been invited to join as experts in the workshop about the implementation of the directive about Mediation of the European Union, held in the European Parliament at the end of November. Both jurists are part of the reduced group of six professionals convened by the Committee on Legal Affairs.

Carlos Espulgues Mota is a full university Professor of International Private Law, member of the group MedArbValencia and director of the Master’s degree in Law, Business and Justice. José Luis Iglesias Buhigues is an Emeritus Professor of International Private Law and former director of the European Commission’s Legal Service.

Professors Esplugues and Iglesias are part of the reduced group of six European professionals convened by the Committee on Legal Affairs of the Parliament to review the implementation of the Directive 52/2008/CE.
