Carles Santos (Vinaròs, 1940) may be currently considered the most prolific and interesting artist of the Spanish avant-garde of recent decades, during which he has maintained a constant outreach. Throughout his career, his artistic production, whose cornerstone was the musical composition and interpretation, has been continuated in many other fields (cinema, performing arts, photography, text production, performances...). Some consider his sense of provocation has made him a sort of "enfant terrible" of the scene, music and artistic creation, but this must not distort a proper look at his work, so that we are facing an artist of a deep consistency
