La Huerta de Valencia, the most populated and dense (2.500 inhabitants per km2) of all Valencian regions is composed of 44 towns where live more than one million and a half of inhabitants. La Huerta de Valencia (The Valencian Market Garden), which its name was given due to the historical abundance of vegetable grows, it has experienced over the past few years an intense urban development that has resulted in the reduction of the number of vegetable acres. This exhibition shows the complex relationship historically maintained between the cities and the Valencian Market Garden, a relationship that sometimes has been interdependent and harmonious, but other conflictive- riots of vegetable gardeners against the city- of predation- by economic powers towards the market garden-. Opening hours: from Monday to Sunday from 12:00 to 14:00.
