The UV has launched the REGALO Award to the boost of the Learning-Service (ApS). The period for the submission of applications will remain open until the next 15 January. The aim of this recognition is to reward projects that have successfully used the ApS methodology in organisations during the last academic year 2015-2016 and the first semester of the academic year 2016-2017.
From 1 to 15 December, undergraduate, graduate and master’s degree students of the UV may submit their candidature individually or in group according to the development of the applicant project.
The presentation of the candidatures can be done through ENTREU or by mail wherever it is justified in a separate document and concretely explaining the reason that prevented the applicants to use the first established via.
It exist five award modalities: four of them meet the areas of knowledge in which the UV has expertise in teaching (Arts and Humanities, Health Sciences, Social and Legal Sciences, Basic Experimental Sciences and Engineering), while the fifth, called “Education: Global Critical Civics”, is a recognition of the projects committed to a critical learning.
The awards, with 300 euros that people or groups who win will donate to the institution in which they have developed their project, will be given in March 2017, coinciding with the final exhibitions of the one-off projects of ApS that are part of the new programme cApSa of the Universitat de València and its firm intention to institutionalize this learning methodology.
The organisation of the RAGALO Award is a tribute to Professor Rafaela García López, full university professor of Education Theory in the Faculty of Philosophy and Education Sciences, who was the promoter of the ApS methodology from the University.
