The five Valencian public universities have called the edition of ‘5U CV STARTUP’ contest, sponsored by the academic institutions and the Valencian Government with the objective of supporting and strengthening the entrepreneur spirit within the University. The period for presenting the projects ends on 21 October.
Similarly, the ‘5U CV STARTUP’ will serve as a contribution to development and consolidation of enterprises created within Valencian universities and to improve the relationship between university and enterprise.
The University of Valencia calls the contest through its Scientific Park.
The contest proposes two different modalities. The first modality is directed to those enterprises that have a minimum antiquity of four months and no older than three years before the deadline for presenting the documents for the contest.
The financial envelope of the winners will be: for the first one, 35.000 euros in financing and 8.750 in price; for the second one, 25.000 euros in financing and 6.250 in price; and for the third on 1.500 in price.
The second modality is directed to those enterprise projects which are not yet constituted as enterprises and those which have a maximum antiquity of a year with respect to the deadline to present the documents in this year’s call. Within this modality, five prizes worth 750 each will be handed to the winners.
