XXY, tells the story of an intersex adolescent. Her parents gave her an isolated family life, in a shack by the seashore, in order to grow free of the prejudices of the enviornment, protected and free, until the moment arrives when she has to decide which way to go. The visit of a friend couple with their adolescent son and the inevitable attraction between him and the main character, will trigger the conflict, raising the issue of social prejudice in front of sexual ambiguity.
