Nutritional genomics is the science that studies the functional interaction between food and its components with the genomics of individuals; the objective is to use a personalized diet for preventing or treating the disease. The general goal of the course is that students know different epidemiological studies which are done through volunteering for identifying genetic variants and diet components which are associated to diseases.
