During the seminar we will focus on the cinema by authors like Jonás Trueba, Daniel Villamediana, Mar Coll, Manuel Martín Cuenca or those that, for example, have recently participated in the exhibition “Un impulso colectivo” (“A collective impetus”) in the last edition of the D’A (Festival Internacional de Cine De Autor of Barcelona) and that, after replacing film-makers that had traditionally a resilient attitude (Iván Zulueta, Víctor Erice, Isaki Lacuesta or José Luis Guerín), are currently trying to produce and show their proposals, in a context marked by the lack of institutional support to film-making, and of low risk by the producers in relation to many ideas that elude the mainstream concepts.
