The author of the exhibition is Mercedes Siles, with the collaboration of José Carlos García (a cook with two Michelin Stars) and Pedro Reyes Dueñas (mathematician and photographer). Thanks to "The Taste of Mathematics", we will be able to visualise the close connection between Mathematics' culinary dreams and cuisine's mathematical universes.

"The Taste of Mathematics" was first displayed in 2012 in Malaga, as an homage to the centenary of the RSME (the Spanish Royal Society of Mathematics). Since then, the exhibition has been shown in Panama, Santiago de Compostela, Granada, Cartagena, Cordoba, Pamplona and Almeria. In 2014, the RSME gave the exhibition the seal "Exposición RSME" ("RSME Exhibition"). In November 2014, Mercedes Siles was invited as speaker at the Math Encounters organised by the MoMath of New York.
