Since last 26 June and until 4 July, the course “Educational Robotics as a Pedagogical Tool” will take place in one of the teaching laboratories of the ETSE-UV within the framework of the Training Plan addressed to Non-university teaching staff 2017 of the Lifelong Learning Service.

The course is given by researchers and professors of the DSDC Group of the Department of Electronic Engineering and will count with the presence of 16 professors both from Training Cycles and Primary and Secondary School, interested on introducing robotics as a learning tool. Because of its nature, this discipline needs very heterogeneous knowledges like for example physics, electronics, mathematics, programming... This provides an integrating value of taught contents in other subjects of the training that the students get. At the same time, they get these contents in a much more attractive way and produce a better proactivity on their attitude.

Over the academic year, different work environments are presented, different elements and sensors that can be used in combination with robots are introduced and finally, creation projects of robotics systems are treated.
