Results of the semi-finals and final of the 1st League of Legends Championship of the Universitat de València in the ETSE-UV

After the online group stage on Friday 5 May at 9:30, the in-person stage of the first LOL tournament of the Universitat de València started in the spaces that the ETSE-UV set out for that.

For the celebration of this championship, the School had 10 next-gen laptops delivered by the company MSI, leader in gaming computers and VR-game.

The first confrontation was between the teams DRET_12 and DRET_13, which resulted in the victory of DRET_13. The second match was E-TELEMATICA_2 against E-INFORMÁTICA_3. This time, E-INFORÁTICA_3 won.

After lunch break, the Assembly Hall Joan Pelechano held the round table about the future of eSports, both at sport and professional level. The round table counted on the presence of Sergio Benet -General Manager, Sergio Cerdán Belenguer - Head Analyst, Iker Rodriguez - Sports Director and José de Matías - Director of the section of League of Legends all of them from Valencia C.F eSports, Ainhoa Campos - Professional caster of the company eSports Playmakers and Carlos Navarro - Services technician of Sports of the Universitat de València.

The final took place at 17:00 and the team E-INFORMÁTICA_3 clearly won 2-0. After these matches, a giveaway was celebrated to win four tickets to see Valencia CF at the Mestalla in its last match of the season from the VIP area of the football field.

All finalist teams were called to pick the awards in the trophy ceremony which will be celebrated next 18 May in the sports facilities of Blasco Ibáñez.
