Within the frame of an educational cooperation programme, the Universitat de València and pasionporvolar.com have produced an audiovisual work which will be projected during the presentation of the new car model developed by GTA Spania, a Valencian brand of luxury cars.

Using the latest filming technologies, combining traditional equipment and drones as well as recordings provided by pasiónporvolar.com, a team of students from the degrees of Multimedia Engineering and Audiovisual Communication; the team includes Adrián Sánchez Fuertes, Anabel Martínez Bueno, Daniel García Costa, Javier Pérez Mesa, Julian Affranchino and Vicente López Saiz -who have directed, produced and edited along with Pasión por Volar and Sincratech Aeronautics, a 4-minute featurette under the academic coordination and supervision provided by professors Santiago Renard Álvarez and Antonia del Rey Reguillo.

The team is completed with  Luis Galindo, José Manuel Martínez Ibáñez and José Luis Montesinos , members of Pasiónporvolar.com, who have coordinated and produced the video and Romain Fhal, world’s runner-up of acrobatic flight.

Filmed at Requena Airfield and at the municipality of Serra (Valencia), the main character of this film is the new GTA Spania Spano car model, which will appear in several movies, among them Need for Speed II.

This production -result of an educational cooperation agreement between pasiónporvolar.com (association specialised in the dissemination and promotion of aero-nautical activities) and the Universitat de València- has allowed students to develop new audiovisual production techniques for outdoor filming by combining the latest filming and edition technologies.

For the Universitat de València’s part, the participants have been the School of Engineering and the Faculty of Language Studies Translation and Communication and, more concretely, the Department of Language Theory and Communication Sciences and the TAU (Audiovisual Workshop).

The final result, a featurette of around four minutes, will be projected in the international presentation of the new GTA Spania car, which will take place in Singapore.
