‘Hyunday Koryocar Paracycling Team’ athletes Rosana López and Maurice Ekchard are members of the Divina Pastora Chair of Adapted Sports of the Universitat de València. They got excellent results on the first event of the Spanish Cup of adapted cycling timetable, which was celebrated in Tomelloso at the end of March.
Rosana López and Noelia Murla won the golden medal on the female category of tandem in front of the pairs formed by Sara Luna and Rosa Varela (who got second on the podium) and Belinda López and Nuria Pinar (third position).
On his part, Maurice Eckhard got the third position in MC2, where he ended the race after 1:21:51. Oskar Garro Antxia got the golden medal with a time of 1:20:08 and Antonio García Martínez reached the third position.
Over one hundred runners took part in the Spanish Cup of adapted cycling, programmed within the framework of the campaign of sensitivity in disabilities.
