Erasmus in Territory - L'Albufera

Open online registration.

The Universitat de València, through the Office of the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Participation and the Office of the Vice-Principal for International Relations and Cooperation, maintains the Erasmus at the Territory programme. In this fifth edition, it has organised different formative itineraries that will allow to show some Valencian municipalities which are referents of its culture and heritage.

These itineraries are addressed to Erasmus students of the UV, for the academic year 2017-2018. The routes are characterised by their educational vocation, which are intended to instruct Erasmus students on heritage, cultural and landscape values of the Valencian region.

L’Albufera

This natural space is 21,000 hectares and offers many landscapes and interesting environmental habitats. This is one of the most important wetlands both in our country and in the Mediterranean basin. It is a Natural Park since 1986 and it got declared “Special Area for Bird Protection” in 1989.

The lake has seen through these centuries how its space has been reduced for the benefit of the cultivation of the rice fields.

There will be a visit to the Interpretation Centre Racó de l’Olla, the rice fields, the Palmar island, etc. There will also be a guided boat trip around the l'Albufera.

Date From 18 september 2017 to 30 september 2017. 24h. Every day.
