The Senate of the University of Valencia, in the sitting on 23 October 2003, approved the proposal of the Statutes of the University. On 2 April 2004, the Council of the Valencian Government forwarded the agreement to which were formulated legal objections to the proposal of the Statutes of the University.
In the sitting on 27 May 2004, the University Senate approved the incorporation of some of the objections and the dismissal of others.
By Decree 128/2004, 30 July, of the Council of the Valencian Government, approved the Statutes of the University of Valencia (General study), that were published in the DOGV (2004/8213), on 3 August 2004 and in which various amendments on the text sent by the Senate were introduced. Amendments that have been the subject of administrative appeal submitted by our University.
Judgment of the High Court of the Valencian Community on 18 October 2005, which partially estimated the appeal against the Decree of the Council 128/04, which approved the Statutes.
