"Retos en la adquisición de las literaturas y las lenguas en la era digital” (“Challenges on the acquisition of literatures and languages on the digital era”). This congress is framed within the SEDLL (Spanish Society of Language and Literature Didactics), which is a non-profit entity that includes researchers from all educative and professional levels, worried about the teaching and learning of languages and literature and their expressive verbal, non verbal and audio-visual resources. SEDLL’s fundamental objectives are: 1. Establishing professional links among specialists on the Area of Language and Literature Didactics in all educative levels and formative scopes. 2. Broadcasting the researches, activities and proposals with an academic, social and professional interests done by its associates in the fields of literary and linguistic education. 3. Stimulating an innovative teaching, with the aim of consolidating it on the teaching and learning of linguistic and literary subjects. 4. Motivate all its associate’s initiatives which allow to improve and develop the Area. The SEDLL has already organized 14 international congresses which have addressed contents opened to all area’s disciplinary scopes. Simposios was centred on monographic (on biennial forms) and alternated during the last two days of November and first days of December each year. The SEDLL also publishes since 1989m the magazine Lenguaje y Textos (language and texts) This congress’ organization is an opportunity for the two university’s collaboration, the Universitat Politècnica de València and the University of Valencia, as well as the Departments of Applied Linguistics and Language and Literature Didactics. The objectives of this congress are, on the one hand, fomenting the joint activities and projects, interacting with members from the involved research groups and offering the opportunity of knowing SEDLL to the different collectives related with language and literature didactics in Valencia. On the other hand, being able of reuniting a large collective to debate on aspects related to teaching, which we believe is a great opportunity to encourage the interest and research on topics related to the congress and the Society.
