PhD programme linked to this Master’s programme: Doctoral Studies in Chemical, Environmental and Process Engineering (UVEG); Doctoral Studies in Water and Environmental Engineering (UPV)

Academic, scientific or professional interest: Growing awareness about environmental degradation and the need to mitigate the impacts of pollution demand new professionals in the area of environmental engineering in order to achieve a balance between the development of our society, industrial competitiveness, and a sustainable and environmentally friendly perspective. The need to address these new challenges has consolidated global studies in this field, as proposed by the Masters. In this sense, the study and understanding of the impacts of human activities justify the research and professional focus, for it is only from a programme of advanced knowledge training specialists that these issues can be tackled, either through the development, design and transfer of technology or the implementation of other processes.
