PhD programme linked to this Master’s programme: Psychological Research
Academic, scientific or professional interest: This master’s programme provides advanced education both academically and professionally for psychosocial interventions with children and families, youths, women, social minorities and the elderly.
The specialisation in psycho-social intervention is present in major universities nationally and internationally. Likewise, it is a priority research line in Spain’s National R&D&I plans.
The programme also responds to a growing demand, in the job market, from Public Administrations, NGOs and private companies. The diversity of programmes, services and centres in which psychologists work demands specialists with precise knowledge and methodologies who can handle a variety of groups with highly specific psycho-social needs.
