PhD programme linked to this Master’s programme: Industrial Economics

Academic, scientific or professional interest: It offers multidisciplinary training designed as a meeting point for an economic academic training, of the most international contrasted quality, with a profile decidedly focused on the knowledge of the business world. These two traditions, as integrated into other neighbouring countries (especially in the U.S.A) are too far apart on the degree offer currently existing in the public and private Spanish universities, meaning a major handicap in the professionals training in the field of industrial economics. The multidisciplinary nature is guaranteed by the systematic use of knowledge from disciplines such as psychology, economics, strategic management of companies, or even sociology. The open training profile is valid not only to face the challenges discussed above, but intentionally designed to maximise its acceptance in the labour market.
