Academic, scientific or professional interest: Small and medium-sized enterprises constitute the fundamental core of the Valencian business material, especially the industrial, so they are fundamental agents of the economic growing. The achievement of a competitive productive material requires that small and medium-sized enterprises can incorporate the most advanced methods and technologies in knowledge and innovation administration, which will ease the adaptation of the enterprises to the requests of the diverse environments, particularly in view of the fact the need of being competitive in an increasingly globalised market. For that, it is not only necessary the investment in equipment (machinery, computers, etc.) but also the formation of management staff who used them in their daily activity. The Master’s pretends to train management staff with a strong base in quantitative methods that enables them to operate in a changing business environment, globalised and highly competitive, fully registered in the Information Society.
