Topic:

A scientific update matinee for teachers of secondary and upper secondary education is scheduled for the 'Science and Technology Week of the University of Valencia 2011', that will take place on November 19th from 9am to 14pm at the Octubre Contemporary Culture Centre.

The speeches, related to human evolution, will be:

- The use of Anthroponomy to understand the history of Europe.

- Human genetic diversity: from the individual to the spieces

- Introduction to the diversity of the Y chromosome: from sampling to the interpretation of the results.

- Surnames and the Y chromosome: the project "A genetic atlas of Catalonian surnames".

After the speeches, there will be a one hour joint debate with the attendants.

You can apply from the 2nd to the 14th of November to the Delegation for University Integration.
