If you have not been admitted to the degree programme of your choice, you will be assigned a waiting list number.
If you have been admitted in the second or successive choices and you do not wish to lose the assigned place, you must enrol within the deadline and under the conditions stipulated by the faculty or school. If you do not do so, it is understood that you reject the place and it will be reassigned.
However, you remain on the waiting list for the degree programmes in which you have indicated as top choices and therefore you have the chance to be called to enrol if there are any vacancies.
You must check the waiting lists.
.If you are admitted to a degree programme from the waiting list, you forfeit the initial enrolment and will enrol again as many times as you are called and admitted to a degree programme that you have listed as a higher preference.
.If you have no assigned place, you can therefore not enrol and you must check the waiting lists. If you are admitted, you must follow the procedure explained in the previous section.
The calls for admission from waiting lists are made after the enrolment deadline for those admitted. The vacancies generated by students who were admitted but did not enrol are then assigned to students on the waiting lists.
Procedures
Instructions
In accordance with Law 30/92 of RJAP and PAC, calls for admission from waiting lists are conducted in person; therefore, the student or representative must attend.
If it has been detected that you have attended a call for more than one degree, the place you may have obtained will be forfeited.
The second and third calls can be attended by those interested who have not done so in the previous calls.
The number of students who are called is a decision taken by each faculty or school for each degree programme.
However, in the first calls at least an additional 15% of the places that have been vacated must be covered to offset subsequent dropouts.
In the last call, note will be taken of students who have attended and their contact information (telephone/email). This list will be used to cover any vacancies that might occur.
For academic and organisational reasons, the deadline after which no more places will be assigned is:
- 15 Octuber, in general.
- 30 Octuber, degree programmes with places in the September call.
