Ten teams made up of students of vocational education courses in the Valencian Community shown their projects yesterday from 13:00 at Facultat d’Economia. These are the finalists of the 5th edition of the competition ‘Proyecto Empresarial en la Formación Profesional’, organized by Facultat d’Economia and sponsored by Fundación Bancaja.
This competition tries to promote entrepeneurship among the youth, to award iniciatives and creativity, and boost skills sucha as decision making, observation, conflict resolution, or team work.
Twelve innovative teams are competing in the final phase. These teams are represented by student teams, who will show their business ideas before a jury and the general public in the hall of Facultat d’Economia from 18:00.
The projects to be presented have been selected among the the following education centres in the Valencian Community: EE.PP San José in Valencia, IES Ramon Muntaner in Xirivella, IES Abastos in Valencia, IES Benlliure in Valencia, IES Pere María Orts i Bosch in Benidorm, IES Miralcamp in Villareal, and EFA La Malvasía in LLombai.
The panel of judges is made up of lecturers of Facultat d’Economia, members of Fundación Bancaja and Chair Bancaja Jóvenes Emprendedores. They are going to assess if the projects’ viability, social commitment and public presentation. Three awards are going to be given, one for the students, and the other two for teachersn and supervisors of the projects.
