The 7th edition of Valencia Summer School, organized by Universitat de València’s Facultat d’Economia, opened yesterday, June 25th. With this project, Facultat d’Economia takes a step forward regarding the internationalization of its teaching and research activities.
As happened in other editions, the faculty has had the support of Obra Social de la Caixa and Academy of International Business.
This year, the Summer School is having professors Claude Obadia and Gabriel Benito. Obadia teaches and researches at Novancia Business School in Paris. He has a PhD from Université de la Sorbonne and a master’s degree in Management from University of Boston.
Professor Benito is a member of BI Norwegian Business School, where he is in charge of the doctorate programmes. He got a Phd at the same school.
The two lecturers have a long research career and have published many papers in academic journals of the highest level. They have specialized on the field of company internationalization. They are members of the scientific commissions of different journals and international associations.
Between June 25th and 27th, professor Obadia is giving the course ‘An Introduction to Structural Equations Modelling’. This course aims to introduce young researchers to the most updated computer tools to be used with the structural equation systems in their searching projects.
In his turn, professor Benito is offering a course on June 28th and 29th. This course is focused on the relationship between the main headquarters and the susidiaries abroad of multinational companies.
The 7th edition of Summer School is also having young researchers from several European, Asian, American and African countries.
