ConWeb’12, the website design competition for secondary school students and vocational training cycles students, celebrates its awards ceremony

Today, Universitat de València is awarding the prizes of the 6th ConWeb edition, which is the website design competition for secondary school students and vocational training cycles students in the Valencian Community. The competition is organized by the School of Engineering – ETSE – along with the Principal’s Delegation for University Integration.

This initiative is one of the activities launched to bring secondary school students closer to the Universitat de València’s actions in the area of engineering.

More than 200 students of all parts in the Valencian Community took part in a competition which had the collaboration of Asociación de Profesores de Informática de la Comunidad Valenciana (the computer science teachers association, APICV), and the educational entity Grupo Pearson.

The runners-up presentation and the voting for the Audience Award are going begin at 17:30 in the School of Engineering’s hall Joan Pelechano.

The awards ceremony is starting at 18:00 in the same hall, and is being chaired by a Principal’s delegate. The Principal’s delegate for university integration and ETSE’s director are attending the event as well.
