On 7 and 8 March the city of Valencia will host the 2nd International Conference University and Industrial Property, which aims to analyse the relationships between the University, research centres and industrial property. The conference is directed by professors Jesús Olavarría and Concepció Sáiz, and will be held at the Saló de Graus of the Faculty of Law.

Within the framework of the project of R+D (DER 2010-21327. Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación) two conferences were programmed. The first one took place in November 2011 and dealt with ‘University and Intellectual Property (copyright)’. This second conference aims to be a meeting point to debate freely the relationships between the universitary world and the research world regarding copyright issues.
