Universitat de València’s Facultat de Medicina i Odontologia awarded its students yesterday, May 9th, the degree extraordinary mentions for 2010/2011 academic year. The faculty also acknowledged the work done by lecturers, administrative staff and the staff retired in 2011. The event was held at 12:00 at the faculty’s Aula Magna.
The awarded are: Gloria Inés Iacoboni García-Calvo, Luis Miguel Rojo Bofill, Dilara Akhoundova, Gloria Maria Martí Andrés, César Manuel Noval Font, and Óscar Blanco Cerdá in the degree of medicine; and Laura Cerdán Bayarri and Ana Llopis Descals, in the degree of odontology. The medicine graduates have passed the exam to become residents (MIR).
The event was chaired by the UV’s Principal, Esteban Morcillo. The Dean of the Faculty, Federico Pallardó, the Vice-principal for Studies and Language Policy, Isabel Vázquez, the Vice-dean of the Faculty, Montserrat Català, and the secretary, Luis Aparicio, attended the ceremony as well.
