Log-linear Analysis in ViSta

The module for loglinear analysis in ViSta computes hierarchical and non-hierarchical models using the generalized linear models code in Lisp Stat. It is very interactive and the results are automatically displayed graphically as shown in this screenshot.

It works throughout the visualization. Clicking the list of terms computes the analysis and updates the plots. Ctrl-clicking add terms to the model or remove them. If you have the Be hierarchical menu item selected, the terms will be added hierarchically

Installation Instructions

The package can be downloaded here. It has several files that have to be put in ViSta's plugins folder in the following manner.

1. Put all the files except the file named p005-logliplg.lsp in a folder named lglin in the ViSta's plugin folder.

2. Put the file p005-logliplg.lsp in the ViSta's plugin folder (but not in the lglin folder).

3. Start up ViSta and follow the instructions
