News from Conscientious Objectors in Israel
Sergeiy Ashin was released from prison last Friday, 24 January,
but is now expecting to be arrested for a third time since he
has not been exempted from military service and was ordered to
report immediately after his release. Sergeiy had just completed
a 28-day sentence.
Tamar Taneh remains in custody on the orders of a military tribunal.
She should be brought before the Exemption Board (the committee
which judges claims from women for conscientious objection).
