I’m a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Astronomy of The Ohio State University. One of my main research interests is the study of the distribution of matter in the Universe on different scales using gravitational lensing. With Chris Kochanek and collaborators we focus in the study of lensed quasars with the aim to better understand their structure and cosmological evolution.
Previously I was an early researcher of the Marie Curie Research Training Network - ANGLES, and I got my PhD in Astrophysics at the Departament of Astronomy and Astrophysics of the University of Valencia, Spain, supervised by José (Pepe) Muñoz.
I got my B.Sc. in Physics/Astronomy at the Universidad de la República, Montevideo, Uruguay, the place where I come from. There, during my last year of undergraduate studies I had Verónica Motta as my advisor. Besides Verónica, I also have to blame Emilio Falco for becoming an astronomer.
