Erasmus Mundus programme in the European Union

Mobility models and scheme

The WOP Coordinating Committee will decide the mobility scheme of each student considering his/her knowledge of the European languages (English, French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish), the students’ university preferences, the rules of the Erasmus Mundus programme, and an adequate distribution of students between the partner institutions.

ERASMUS MUNDUS GENERAL RULES FOR MOBILITY

As general rule, the Erasmus Mundus compulsory requirement regarding mobility is that the student must study at least 30 ECTS credits in two universities (30 ECTS credits in each of both universities) of different European countries of the WOP Consortium (France, Italy, Portugal and Spain).

MOBILITY FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE GRANTED WITH AN ERASMUS MUNDUS GRANT (CATEGORY A OR CATEGORY B)

They must comply with the General Rules described before but taking into account that the two universities must be located in a country different from the country where the student has obtained his/her last University degree.

Apart from the compulsory mobility period, additional voluntary mobility is possible. But it must be agreed first by the Coordinators of the universities involved in the student's voluntary mobility.
