Erasmus Mundus programme in the European Union

Opening of the Winter School of the Erasmus Mundus European Master on Work, Organizational, and Personnel Psychology (WOP-P) in the International Center of Gandia.

Winter School 2011

During the next two weeks, fifty students from fourteen countries from different continents will participate in the stage presence of a Winter School organized by the Erasmus Mundus Master on WOP-P given by the Consortium of five European universities (Barcelona, Bologna, Coimbra, Paris Descartes and Valencia) and coordinated by a team of professors from the Faculty of Psychology and IDOCAL Institute of the University of Valencia. Participating students are students of master at the five universities of the consortium and also involved several students from San Jose State Univerity, University of Baltimore, University of Berlin and University of Rome. Training in this Learning Unit of the WOP-P master has three phases: the first virtual teams composed of members from various universities and countries, the second face, is held in Gandia International Center at the University of Valencia, and third comprises the end of integration work, also performed remotely with the support of virtual classroom at the University of Valencia. The main aim of this Winter School is the development of professional competence (knowledge, skills and attitudes) for the design of interventions in the field of Organizational Development and Human Resources in an international context and with an approach that combines global and local perspective. The teaching staff is composed of distinguished researchers, academics and professionals among which include Prof. Robert Roe (U. Maastricht and President of the European Federation of Psychology Associations), Rob Briner (Birkbeck College London), David Guest ( Kings College London), Filip Livens (Ghent University), Dirk Steiner (University of Nice), Eric Andriessen (University of Delft) and Fred Zjisltra (University of Maastricht). The coordination is done by professors J. M. Peiró and Carolina Moliner (University of Valencia, Spain), V. Rogard (University Paris Descartes, France) and Salvatore Zapala (Bologna University, Italy).
