In
Cocentaina we have a rich net of civic societies, and among them I want to
highlight the Grup d'Amics de la Natura, an ecologist group
that dedicates its efforts to the protection of the natural environment in
general and, in particular, Mariola Mountains.

We have the
Centre d'Estudis Contestans as well, an institution that looks after the
conservation, recovery and popularization of the cultural heritage of our
county. They have been working for many years, mostly in the spheres of
Archaeology, Ethnology and History.
These are
CEC's headquarters, a gothic palace in the Main Street that the Centre itself
has restaured and converted into an interactive museum:

things I'm interested on are technologies of comunication (Internet and so on)
