In the UIMCV
we are in agreement with the idea that the University must service to the Society. One of
the ways to give this service is through the colaboration with industrial companies This

PROJECTS
The high competitive of global market impose to use research
and develop policies which allow to companies to manufacture new and/or improved products
in order to create new markets or play advantage in which being present now. The UIMCV
collaborate with companies looking for improving innovation process, teaching profesionals
and starting new researches.
Our research
is centred in the study and development of both new materials and the optimization of the
properties of some materials manufactured today.
This research can be carried
out through projects of interest for several industrial sectors which

Ceramic
pigments: improve production process, color development, decreasing contaminant
substances, new pigments.
Glass-ceramic
materials: glass-ceramic glazes, improvement of mechanical and chemical
resistance, optimization of optical properties, glass-ceramics from industrial wastes,
advanced glass-ceramics.
Technical
porcelains: microstructure in whitewares, effect of
additives on the microstructure, mechanical properties.
Luminiscent
materials: synthesis, characterization and development of new luminiscent
materials.
CONSULTANCY
SERVICE
We give scientifical and technical asistance for the industry.
For this purpose we possess both the technical equipment at the University of Valencia and
our experience in the study of ceramic and glassy materials. |
