A convention on art education? Why? What for? Who is it directed to? As we approach an outstanding time the end of the millennium, coinciding with the commemoration of the anniversary of the University of Valencia and considering the new teaching strategies applied in art education during the last years, we would like to bring together in Valencia the best specialists and outstanding personalities of our profession in a diverse, enlightening, open debate about the future in this field. This event is open to all educators who would like to incorporate art in the classroom: Teachers of elementary school, middle school, special education, high school, vocational school, art school, universities,... We also expect the participation of professionals in charge of programming didactic curriculum in art centres and in the media.
