About
I am a Full Professor of Innovation Management at the University of Valencia and a Visiting Research Fellow at the U-GOT KIES centre at the University of Gothenburg. I am part of the INN4ALL research group.
My work sits at the intersection of innovation management, knowledge networks, and science policy. I am interested in a set of persistent questions: how collaborative networks shape what scientists produce, why some researchers are more innovative than others, and how science connects — or fails to connect — with the rest of society. In recent years I have been particularly drawn to citizen science as a site where these questions converge.
I hold positions in Spain, Sweden, and have held others in France (Bordeaux, Rennes) and earlier in Denmark and Italy. I did my PhD at INGENIO (CSIC-UPV) in Valencia, which is where the questions I still work on first took shape.
