SPECML-UV

We are a team of researchers from the SOLINQUIANA group (Department of Analytical Chemistry, Universitat de València). We develop analytical methods that integrate spectrometry/spectroscopy with machine learning to extract chemical information from complex samples.

Our main research interests include:
Vibrational spectroscopy

We use IR and Raman spectroscopy and chemical imaging to acquire label-free molecular fingerprints for quantification and spatially resolved monitoring of complex biological and chemical systems.

Metabolomics

Employing LC-MS, we profile small molecules to map metabolic states and biochemical pathways, supporting mechanistic insight and biomarker discovery across health, disease, and experimental models.

Data analysis & machine learning

We develop and validate analytical methods for biological and clinically relevant samples, focusing on reliability, transferability, and quantitative performance in real-world conditions.

Analytical services & technology transfer

We build reproducible pipelines to extract information from spectra and omics data, developing predictive models and interpretable features to support robust decision-making.

Clinical & biomedical translation

We build reproducible pipelines to extract information from vibrational spectra and omics data, developing predictive models and interpretable features to support robust decision-making.
