RESEARCH FELLOW - DATA ANALYSIS

The Centre for Educational Sociology at Edinburgh University is looking for a researcher with quantitative skills to join their research team.
Fixed term: for one year in the first instance, from July 2004 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Salary scale: £18,265 - £27,339 (under review)

The post offers the opportunity to develop and refine skills in data analysis and apply them in research on qualifications and transitions and school performance data. Applicants should have some experience of quantitative work and a strong interest in developing their capacity in this area. Support and training will be available from a team of experienced researchers, and there is considerable scope for the development of skills in appropriate
advanced research methods.
