Call for contributions is now open !

Abstract submission deadline is November 30th, 2023

This IUVSTA workshop (WS) is a "key enabling technology" event based on the interdisciplinary expertise of theoretical and experiment groups covering the wide field of characterization of advanced materials. The  WS will focus particularly on energy materials in the areas of solar energy, solar thermal, and batteries, from fundamentals to applied materials science. The plenary talks will show the latest advances in characterization techniques in the fields of diffraction, optics, spectroscopy, electrochemistry, artificial intelligence, among others.

This specific and timely thematic of the workshop as well as its innovative operational approach will promote interdisciplinary research activities, the training of human resources and will offer an efficient networking model for establishing effective and fruitful future collaborations.

The main topics of this workshop are:

-

  • Processing and Devices of High Efficiency Solar Cells
  • Halide Perovskites for Photovoltaic Applications
  • Silicon for Photovoltaics
  • Thermoelectric Energy Conversion
  • Challenges in Battery Technologies
  • Materials for Safe Electrochemical Energy Storage
  • Green Electrochemical Energy Storage
  • Materials, Processes and Devices

Major Renewable Sources : solar, biomass, hydroelectric.wind, Batteries, Green Electrochemical Energy Storage, and others.

The target of this scientific event is to promote effective interdisciplinary solutions to optimize energy materials using theoretical and experimental state-of-the-art techniques.

The optimization of these materials will successfully consolidate innovative energy sources able to give solution to the major energy societal problems of nowadays.

Demand of Renewable Energy: transportation and mobility, urban land use, illumination, industries, among others.
