The Chair of Agri-Food Cooperatives, in collaboration with Deloitte Legal, organised a webinar on 24 October on ‘The reform of contributions for self-employed workers and its impact on farmers and ranchers’.

Fernando Bazán, labour partner at Deloitte and Beatriz Prieto and Patricia Millán, both from Deloitte Legal, participated as speakers.

Fernando and Beatriz already gave a talk in March on the labour reform, it was an enjoyable and useful webinar, so much that some of the federations of Spanish Agri-Food Cooperatives wanted to replicate it face-to-face in their territory.

Once again, Deloitte shed light on something that is once again of concern to the agri-food sector: the new contribution system for self-employed workers based on real income, specifically how it will affect farmers and ranchers from 2023.
