The 8th July 2021 Resolution of the Vice-principal for Innovation and Transfer has been published, announcing the first edition of the "Cátedra de Baloncesto L'Alqueria del Basket" awards of the Universitat de València for the best Doctoral Thesis related to basketball.

The purpose of this announcement is to award the best Doctoral Thesis carried out in the academic year 2020-2021 and whose content is oriented towards the subject of basketball from any approach and area of knowledge, with the aim of promoting among university students the study of any aspect related to this sport.

These prizes are open to students of official degrees from Spanish public universities.

It is planned that a single prize will be awarded for a total amount of 1,500 euros in cash.
