Cycle: Death and the process of dying

First edition of the Dying with Dignity Photography Awards

From 1 March to 6 April

The Universitat de València, together with the Right to Die with Dignity Association of the Valencian Community, are organising the 1st Photography Contest Dying with Dignity.

The meaning of “death with dignity” is something very intimate and personal. The aim of this competition is to encourage photographers, especially young people, to reflect on it and to capture it in a creative way. Death is a taboo in our society. This creative proposal also aims to break this taboo and extend the vision of the participants to the general public. All the proposals submitted will be exhibited at the Universitat de València from 10 to 19 May, where you will be able to enjoy the works and the reflections of the participants.

Authors wishing to participate must submit a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 7 images.

Deadline for proposals: 6 April 2023
