In June 2018, Valencia will host the 18th edition of the National Congress of Geographic Information Technologies. It is organized by the Geography Department of the Universitat de València and Asociación de Geógrafos Españoles (Spanish Geographic Association) A discussion forum about the advances in the field of the geographical information.
Under the motto “Perspectivas multidisciplinares en la sociedad del conocimiento” (‘Multidisciplinary perspectives in the society of the knowledge’), the 18th edition of the National Congress of TIG will assemble in Valencia between the 20th and 22nd of June, 2018 academic experts and professionals proceeding from the public institutions and the companies with the target to set together and to debate on the advances in the ambience of the investigation, observation, access and analysis of the geographical information.
The program of the congress will include conferences, round tables and presentations of scientific works, in addition to the inclusion of institutional and managerial projects and the achievement of technical workshops destined for the update of the professionals and investigators of the sector.
This meeting will take place in the head office of the Foundation University Company ADEIT of the Universitat de València. The registration deadline will be available from 1 October. The summaries of the communications will be able to appear until January 15, 2018.
