You can now have a look at the first newsletter of the project “Hope & Act: Towards a Pedadogy of Hope, Resilience and Action” of which we are partners.

Hope & Act is inspired by Paulo Freire’s pedagogy of hope which while hope is not enogh to achieve liberation, without hope there is struggle. Freire stresses the importance of relationship between educators and students and continues to fight against the banking model of education.

Through the formal curricula we will ecxplore how this pedagogy of  hope and value-based learning can be used in everyday classroom encounters to form the cornerstone of education and learning.
