The Coordinadora Valenciana de ONGD, in collaboration with Caixa Popular, announces the II edition of the Premios Cooperación Comunitat Valenciana, aimed at recognising the commitment of people, institutions, companies, media and social movements to human rights and global justice.
CATEGORIES
- PEOPLE, INSTITUTIONS, ORGANISATIONS OR VALENCIAN COMPANIES committed to cooperation: a career path towards development cooperation, the defence of human rights, the eradication of poverty and/or global justice, or putting in motion a field-related relevant or innovative initiative in the last years.
- Committed COMMUNICATION with cooperation:
- Awards to media, programmes or sections, journalists or broadcasters committed to development cooperation, the defence of human rights, the eradication of poverty, gender equality and/or global justice, or those who carried out relevant field-related journalism work of social impact in 2019 or 2020.
- Special award to a young and committed journalism: to relevant journalism work in the above-mentioned subjects, made in 2019 or 2020 by journalists under the age of 30.
- CAMPAIGNS involving networks, platforms or Valencian social movements committed to development, the defence of human rights, the eradication of poverty, gender equality, sustainability and global justice. Awards do not include economic endowments. The winning people or organisations will take part in a public trophy and diploma-giving ceremony, and the awarded initiatives, works or career paths will be made known.
