Jordi Sanjuán Belda Wins Best Doctoral Thesis Award from Fundación SGAE

On January 10, 2025, the Fundación SGAE Tribunal, meeting at its headquarters in Madrid, awarded the Research Prize for Best Doctoral Thesis to Jordi Sanjuán Belda, from the University of Valencia, for his thesis titled "Cultural and Creative Industries and Regional Well-being".

The jury, composed of Ana María López Cepeda (University of Castilla-La Mancha), Gloria Romanello (Autonomous University of Barcelona), and Manuel Cuadrado García (University of Valencia), conducted a thorough evaluation of the submitted theses, research papers, and project proposals, highlighting the scientific contribution of Sanjuán's research on the transformative role of cultural and creative industries in regional development and social well-being. This recognition underscores not only the academic excellence of Sanjuán's work but also its relevance in a field of growing importance. Jordi Sanjuán, a member of the ECONCULT research group at the University of Valencia, has built an outstanding career in the field of cultural economics and public policy.
