First International Conferences of Young Researchers in Cultural Hybridisations and Migrant Identities

  • October 1st, 2021
Poster of the event

The goal of these conferences is to give visibility to young researchers who are specialising in postcolonial and migration studies or cultural, gender and queer studies in the francophone context or in comparison with it. Additionally, special attention is given to intersectional approaches in which converge different oppression and exclusion factors (gender, race, class, etc.). The presentations will address both the literary and artistic analysis, including any kind of cultural creation or product (literature, film, theatre, comic, music, art, etc.), as well as the linguistic or translation analysis, without excluding geopolitical and historical contexts. Therefore, the main goal is to create and consolidate an international network that would help develop these issues and build bridges between humanities and social sciences.
