The past June 27th, the award ceremony for the I Edition of the DAM-Universitat de València Chair’s Teaching Contest for Integral Management and Wastewater Resource Recovery was held.

The four winners, Andrea Salavert and Carlos Mateo from the Degree in Environmental Sciences; Ana Escorihuela and Alexandra Dindiligan from the Degree in Chemical Engineering were awarded for their work of creation, preparation and presentation of a teaching project aimed at primary students which seeks to highlight the resources than can be recovered from wastewater, as well as the importance of their use with the goal of promoting a sustainable development.

Head of the Mediterranean Water Treatment Company’s (DAM) Department of Innovation Laura Pastor and Director of the DAM-Universitat de València Chair Alberto Bouzas personally awarded students with a tablet worth 200€.
