José Antonio Estévez García. Chair for Digital Gender Gap

José Antonio is responsible for social innovation.

After working for 10 years in the consultancy field and in European R&D&I projects, his next step into the digital transformation area gave him the opportunity to work by applying emerging technologies to various business areas, which led him to manage Atos Iberia’s (atos.net/es/spain) innovation at a corporate level, thus participating to coordinate the company’s innovation portfolio at an international level.

In 2005, he simultaneously started to collaborate with various NGOs in defence of vulnerable people’s rights, climate change and responsible consumption. In 2010, he took part in a master’s degree called “Applied Imagination” by the Central Saint Martins school (University of the Arts London), working alongside Design Thinking in projects with social and business impact measurement.

He’s currently responsible for technology applied to social innovation and he’s part of the fundraising team Ayuda en Acción, a Spanish NGO whose main objective is to fight against worldwide inequality and poverty.
